We prepare this using high-heat on our wok, stir-frying large shrimp and fresh asparagus along with our special Thai-style oyster and mushroom sauce, garlic, and other Thai flavors.

Giant prawns cooked over an open flame and then married to our rich red-curry sauce which we prepare using coconut milk

A fresh salmon filet sautéed with our mouthwatering kra prao sauce, red bell peppers, and garlic

Siam Apple Catfish

We dip fresh catfish fillets in a light batter, fry them golden brown, and serve them with a slivered apple-and-lime-juice sauce with cashews and fresh Thai Chilis

Pad Thai

Our most popular dish, we prepare this special version of pad thai using shrimp, narrow rice noodles, fried tofu, sugar, tamarind, pickled radish, vinegar, bean sprouts, chives, and ground peanuts.

Spaghetti Kee Mao

A very popular fusion dish in Thailand, we prepare this using hcopped beef, sweet Thai basil, onions, bell peppers, Thai oyster, and mushroom sauce with Italian spaghetti noodles.

Tom Yum Ramen

Another fusion dish, this one features large shrimp, lemongrass, galangal, and other Thai flavors married with ramen noodles

Kao Soi Ramen

A complex type of curry popular in Northern Thailand. Prepared with chicken drumsticks and a curry made from chilies, chopped shallots, ginger, turmeric, toasted coriander seeds, cardamom, and ramen.

Pad See Ew

Flat, stir-fried noodles combined with chicken breast meat, eggs, and Chinese broccoli.

    Hot or Thai began its roots in Long Beach California in 2002 with Tantalizingly Thai. We are proud to say that we have now relocated to Pacific Beach in the amazing city of San Diego. Now known as Hot or Not Thai, we welcome dine-in and takeout orders.

    We offer great lunch specials and exotic dinner dishes. We might be biased, but we insist that we have some of the best tasting Thai Food in San Diego. Find us online or come visit us on Cass Street to experience what authentic Thai food is meant to taste like.

Our centuries-old recipes from Thailand incorporate unique blends of herbs and spices from the region to tantalize your taste buds. We use coconut milk, kra eprao, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, cilantro, tamarind, mint leaves, galangal, and many more special ingredients that make our healthy, natural, and nutritious foods so tasty.
